Scientists from the Institute of Digital Economic, Cultural and Social Development have researched and successfully built a shared platform (Geo-Platform) with many utilities to meet the needs of connecting supply chains. Optimizing demand, sharing information and geospatial data, promoting digital transformation in the field of Surveying and Mapping, serving infrastructure construction and socio-economic development in Vietnam.

According to Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Institute of Economic, Cultural and Social Development, in the context of digital transformation being widely deployed in Vietnam as well as globally with the power of 4.0 technology, AI, IoT... and 4G and 5G wireless connections reaching every citizen are said to be the key factors. Along with that, the correct orientations of the Party and Government consider digital transformation as the driving force to promote the development of key fields, taking data as the core as the glue to link digital platforms to creating interconnected solutions to serve a variety of needs of state management agencies, businesses and people. Therefore, in the near future, the formation and development of digital platforms is natural and inevitable in cyberspace.

Digital platform is an information system serving online electronic transactions that operates according to the model of using digital technology to create a network environment that allows many parties to participate in transactions and provide services to organizations. Organizations and individuals, can use immediately, simple, convenient, flexible on demand, easy to disseminate on a large scale, participants do not need to invest, manage, operate and maintain themselves. The digital platform is a breakthrough solution to accelerate the digital transformation process, develop digital government, digital economy and digital society. This is also a key factor in ensuring cyber information security and protecting Vietnam's prosperity in cyberspace.

Not out of that trend, scientists from the Institute of Economic, Cultural and Social Development have researched and built a shared platform to connect, share and process information and mapping data.

The shared platform (Geo-Platform) allows stakeholders to register for access accounts with verified identities, then bring their needs as well as products and services to the shared platform. Core part - Geo Connection Platform (GCP) with processing modules will automatically classify, evaluate reliability levels, competition levels, different priority levels and put needs into supply-demand partitioning. of the system in a fair and objective manner. Then the GCP brain with pre-built AI Modules will automatically create connections and provide optimal options for relevant parties to make the most effective decisions.
